We @ISKCON Ranchi were delighted to host Naru Gopal Das (General Secretary- North East Region) as our guest of honor for Sadhu Sang Mahotsav celebrated on  Friday, June 10.

Naru Gopal Das Prabhu has been practising Krishna Consciousness since the age of ten for forty years now.

The sang mahotsav started at 10 AM with Iskcon Ranchi BACE inaugration ceremony. Naru gopal prabhuji had a  discussion with the youth devotees where he emphasized on the importance of Bhagvat Geeta and devotion in our life. He explained how to  maintain a  balance between devotion and material life. Prabhuji ended the session with his mesmerizing kirtan.

On the auspicious day, he conducted an enriching session on the topic_"Leelas of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in Jharkhand"_    For Mahaprabhu the state of Jharkhand was analogous to Vrindavan as his "Bhav" were always absorbed in Krishna. Naru Gopal Das Prabhu also mentioned that the state of Jharkhand, was blessed by the mercy of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

He instructed us to pay due respect to the legacy of our ancestors who had the opportunity to meet Chaitanya Mahaprabhu by following their foot steps. The first day ended with dancing Sankirtana and Prasadam.

The following day, Naru Gopal Das Prabhu conducted a special two- hour session to improve the efficacy of our Mantra Japa by following the correct process which can lead us to Krishna faster!

Devotees were grouped into teams, to introspect and discuss the shortcomings of their Japa meditation, which could further be enhanced.

Prabhu touched upon a very significant point which talked about the fact that the quality of our Japa is directly proportional to our relationship with the eternal Lord- Krishna. The more attentively we chant, the stronger the bond!

Naru Gopal Das Prabhu Ji's divine presence was like a light on our paths towards Krishna and we anticipate to have him again soon to bless us!
