They say company defines your consciousness and we were fortunate enough to grab this opportunity admist the misty blue mountains of the Himalayas alongwith sincere seekers of truth from across the country.

The holistic 5-day retreat consisted of Hare Krishna Mahamantra Japa, Trekking, Visits to Holy Places, having fulfilling Prasadam and singing the glories of the Lord.

The days began with Mangala Aarti and Srimad Bhagvatam by HG Lila Purushottam Das which helped us deepen philosophical understanding of spiritual topics. After having Prasadam, we went to the Ashram of Markandeya Muni which was situated at a very high altitude but seemed like a cakewalk as devotees walked their way up chanting and doing Kirtana
The Ashram exuberated immense serenity, nestled in the flora of Himalayan belt. Mesmerized by the beauty of nature devotees continues to chant  Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare  In the evening, Sir conducted a special class on Chaitanya Charnamrit where he discussed about the Haridas Thakur.

Devotees also visited  Prasahar Muni ashram, Bhootnath temple and Panchvaktra temple. In our endeavour to carry forward the legacy of chaitanya mahaprabhu preaching we made a humble attempt of doing Sankirtana and book distribution in the main market of Mandi City.
